African Choir

"The mission of the African Catholic Choir is to bring a taste of African musical vibrance and energy to the Catholic community in Aberdeen. New members are always welcome and experience/knowledge of singing are not required. Meeting times are Thursdays 7.00pm and Saturdays 6.00pm in the Cathedral Upper Hall.

Cathedral Choir

The Cathedral Choir is made up of Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass voices and sings each Sunday at 11.15am Mass. Rehearsals are held at 10.15am in the Chapter Room prior to Mass.
Although we have a core of regular singers we recognise that some people are unable to attend every week. If you are interested in joining us to lead and support the Cathedral Choir please join us at 10.15am on Sunday or you can discuss membership with the Director of Music who can be contacted via the Cathedral office or by the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Children’s Liturgy & RE Classes

Presentation of Sunday liturgy at children’s level aged 5 to 11.
Cathedral 11.15am & 6.00pm Masses on Sunday: Nazareth 9.30am Mass on Sunday.
Sacramental preparation classes for children not at Catholic School.

Sunday Music Group

Picture
As the name implies this group of singers and instrumentalists sing and play every Sunday evening. The group performs a wide range of musical styles.
Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from 5.30pm to 7pm and on Sundays from 4.30pm to 6pm in the Upper Hall at 16 Huntly Street.
There is a particular need for musicians at the present time.
