                            Cathedral Halls

                            Location
                            St Mary’s Cathedral Halls are situation on Huntly Street, near Aberdeen’s main thoroughfare, Union Street.  All members of the community and groups are welcome.  You do not have to be a member of St Mary’s Cathedral to use the Halls.

                            The entrance from Huntly Street is ramped, to provide easy access to all, and the ground floor has ramping throughout.

                            Main Hall
                            This spacious hall is situated on the ground floor, making access easy for all.  Suitable for up to 130 people.  Linked to the hall is a modern, well-equipped kitchen.  Comfortable upright chairs, and rectangular or round tables, are available for use by groups.

                            Lower Hall

                            Access to the lower hall is by stairs located on the right inside the main entrance.  Suitable for up to 40 people.  It has a facility for making tea or coffee.  There is a hoist to transport small items, such a food, from the main hall.  Comfortable upright chairs, and rectangular or round tables, are also available for use by groups.

                            Terms of booking
                            Either hall is available for booking on a regular weekly or monthly basis; also for occasional use.  The halls are open from 9.00am until 10.00pm (with extension, if appropriate).

                            HELP US TO PAY FOR THE HALLS

                            We are still working to reconstitute the funds spent on extending and modernising the Halls in 2002-03. You can help by....

                            *    making a one-off contribution (cash or cheque)

                            *    donating a sum on a regular basis

                            *    helping with fundraising events (phone Joyce Webster on 01224 319154)

                            If you are a UK tax payer we can recover the tax you have paid and all you need to do is complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form or place a one-off donation in a Gift Aid Envelope (available at the back of the Cathedral).
